"Gan Accademia" a Jewish Montessori school will fuse thousands of years of scholastic tradition with best-in-class contemporary education methods. Gan in Hebrew is a garden. Gan Accademia's organic, hands-on intuitive approach empowers our students to self-actualize individually and collaboratively, creating a self-directed path for each child to blossom.

The programs of Gan Accademia arise from a common desire for excellence in meeting the needs of children and their families.  Our philosophy, inspired by the acclaimed Italian educators; Maria Montesori and Emilia Reggio is one of nurturing, growth and development, relationships and understanding - all in the goal of establishing a love for learning, a fascination with holidays and life cycles events, and a passion for approaching the world in a Jewish way.

We strive to educate according to our namesake; Gan - preschool in Israel, promises our families an authentic Jewish experience filled with celebrations of our Holidays and Heritage. Accademia - educating in Italian, infuses the methods we use to educate.

A Montessori instruction is primarily self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play when the children make creative choices in their learning with the adults guiding the process. Similarly Reggio tutelage is a play-based ideology where the children are free to explore and follow their own curiosity. At Gan Accademia, trusting the children to be able to construct their own learning and be collaborators in the process ensures the opportunity to shine.

While Gan Accademia operates classrooms which are individualized in their goals & objectives, each classroom forms its specific aims within the context of these principles.
